Young People of Faith

Last Sunday morning, in our Teen class, we started a series called “Young People of Faith”. This morning, we talked about Joseph and how through his faith he endured many hardships throughout his life. Whether it was living with his brothers who hated him for his wild dreams, being thrown into a pit and later sold into slavery or sent to prison on a false accusation, Joseph never strayed from God and trusted Him to take care of him.
Joseph always stayed true to God and even when he was in less than desirable situations, he worked to serve God by making the best of where he was. In return, Joseph was rewarded by God being made second only to Pharaoh in all of Egypt and ultimately being able to save his family!
When we go through tough times in our life, let’s remember Joseph and his faith. I pray we always remember that through it all God is WITH us, God will PROVIDE for us, and God has a PLAN for us! So, remember that this week as you go about your daily life. May God bless us all!
