We were honored to welcome members of our local first responders:
• Summerdale Volunteer Fire Department
• Summerdale Police Department
They stopped by to pick up the handmade teddy bears created by our Ladies' Teddy Bear Ministry.
How the bears will be used:
• Each bear will be placed into a sensory comfort bag.
• These bags are kept in every emergency vehicle.
• They are given to children involved in accidents or
stressful situations to help calm, comfort, and bring a
sense of safety during difficult moments.
Our Fire Chief showed us one of the sensory bags, the items they hold & how they may be used. What a powerful reminder of how small acts of love make a big difference!
Thank you to our ladies for their servant hearts, and thank you to our first responders for all you do to protect and care for our community.
LADS 2 LEADERS CONVENTION
Some of our youth will be attending the Lads to Leaders Convention in Orlando on Easter weekend! Please continue pray for them as they prepared for this great honor to use their talents to the glory of God. We are so proud of each & every one of them!
