Vacation Bible School 2024

Good morning, Church family! What an amazing week of VBS we had! I cannot thank all of you enough for all your hard work to make VBS 2024 a success! It was so awesome to watch God work this week in the lives of all our “little” visitors. I know that all the kids and parents that attended were blessed by it. After it was all over, I started thinking about how Jesus tells us in Mathew 18:3-4 “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself as the little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”

To see their excitement and enthusiasm was such an encouragement to me and a reminder that Jesus wants us to have that same type of innocents and attitude when we worship Him. He wants us to worship Him with no regard for what other people think or will say but truly empty ourselves of all worries and cares and fully worship Him. I challenge you this week to worship God just like our kids did during VBS!

Also, today is Father’s Day. I want to take just a moment to thank all our fathers for everything they do. I know they are not always acknowledged but they are always appreciated. As always, remember you are loved!
