Time for GCBC

Today we will leave for camp! Camp is a wonderful time and often it presents so many opportunities to grow closer to each other and to God. Oftentimes, when we attend an event like this, we feel like we are on top of the mountain and can take on Satan all by ourselves. However, when we get back, we often experience a drop in our enthusiasm. That is why it is so important for us as Christians to encourage each other. Events like camp are so uplifting but as God’s church we should strive to make everyday a “camp” experience!

As we head to camp today, please pray for our group and the camp. Pray for safe travels. Pray that we will be strengthened spiritually and that we will glorify God in all that we do. Pray that our relationships with each other and the other congregations represented at camp will grow. Pray that God will bring great blessings on our group this week.
