The Way

Wow! What a great week we had at Gulf Coast Bible Camp two weeks ago! God was present in every camper and counselor there. We had five baptisms including our own Lauren Tucker and another from our group that went, Samantha Uteg. Praise God for that! Our theme this year at camp was “The Way”. Each day we learned how we can listen, trust, follow, and share the Way, which is Jesus. I pray that as we come back to “the real world” we will continue to follow Christ and God’s perfect way for us as Christians. As Christians, it is easy to follow God when we are at events like camp and in the presence of other Christians. The real challenge is when we go back into the world and are surrounded by all the worries and cares of this world. We must be like Peter when he was walking on the water and stay focused on Jesus and ignore all the turmoil around us. As long as we focus on God and His plan, we will remain strong. My prayer this week is when we get discouraged, we will refocus on Christ! I hope you all have a great week and always remember you are loved!
