The Goodness of God

In our Camp David classes, our kids are learning about creation. Today they learn about day five of creation where God made all of the birds and fish. Next week, they will learn about day six and how God created all of the land animals and man. As they have been studying the first chapter of Genesis it is amazing how God’s plan is perfect. We read how after He created each day, He said “it is good”. That is because everything that God does is good. He has a plan for everything He does, and that plan is more than “good” it is perfect. Through the story of creation, we see how God planned out everything down to the smallest detail. Each day of creation builds on the other. The same is true in our life. God has a plan for each of us and it is perfect. All we have to do is trust Him and follow Him. At times that is easier said than done but know that God’s plan for you is planned out from beginning to end. Just like each day of creation was unique and served a specific purpose, each of us have a specific purpose and role to play in God’s kingdom. I pray that we trust Him to lead us on our journey and that we will strive to achieve that unique purpose while serving Him. Always remember you are loved!
