Mother’s Day 2025

Today we celebrate Mother’s Day, and I want to take a moment to say “Happy Mother's Day” to

all the wonderful mothers here at Summerdale! We are truly blessed by the love, example, and

influence of so many Godly women in this congregation. Your faith, strength, and kindness shape

not only your families but this church family as well.

When I think about mothers in the Bible, I’m reminded of Hannah. She prayed earnestly for a

child, and when God answered her prayer, she kept her promise and dedicated Samuel back to

the Lord. Hannah’s story is a powerful reminder of the importance of faith, perseverance, and

trusting God with the most precious parts of our lives. She teaches us that motherhood isn’t just

about raising children—it’s about raising them to know and love the Lord. I can say without a

shadow of a doubt that all of our mother’s here at Summerdale are either raising or have raised

their children to know and love the Lord!

Thank you to all our mothers for your sacrifices, your prayers, and your example. You are

making a difference every single day!
