Growing Faithful Children

Next Sunday, we are going to start an exciting new opportunity! We talk a lot about giving and

how we can never out give God. This is something that we need to teach our children. We should

be teaching them how important it is to give back to God especially since we are so richly

blessed here in the United States. So many of our brethren throughout the world are not as

fortunate as we are. That is why I am excited to announce that starting next Sunday, we are going

to begin Kids Give! After our time of communion and offering, we will give our kids (ages birth

to 12) the opportunity to come up to the front and put money into the “Growing Faithful

Children Fund”. Growing Faithful Children is a church of Christ organization that works with

children, mostly orphans, in Jamaica. They take time to work with schools and churches in

Jamaica to help to raise up Godly, Christ centered children.

So, after the offering each Sunday, we will have another song. While we sing that song, the kids

can make their way forward to place their money in a jug. Every three months we will send those

funds directly to Growing Faithful Children and they will send them to a school to help those

kids continue to grow up in the Lord. You can learn more about Growing Faithful Children by

I am so excited about this opportunity for our kids to learn to give back to God and the less
