God's People Come Together

With the devastation of Hurricanes Helen and the Milton we here on the Gulf Coast are so blessed. It reminds me though just how precious life is. It can be lost in an instant. It is so important as Christians that we remember that and take every opportunity we have to share the Gospel with others. We never know when we will take our last breath. We have to be resolved to share the Gospel! It is also so wonderful to see people coming together in their communities to help those in need. Even from hundreds of miles away, God’s people are coming together to help. Last Sunday, we took up a separate offering for disaster relief which raised $4500! We will take another one this morning in case you did not have the chance to give last week. In addition, tonight our Sunday Night Soldiers group will be putting together care packages for those in need in Valdosta Georgia. If you have any gently used children’s clothes or toys, we would appreciate them being donated. You can bring them this evening. We are also collecting basic toiletries and other necessities to put in those care packages. It is awesome to see God’s people fulfilling Christ’s message to help those in need! Always remember you are loved!
