Bible Boot Camp (VBS 2025)

It’s finally here—Vacation Bible School kicks off tonight, and we could not be more excited!

This year’s theme, Bible Boot Camp, is all about training up the next generation to be strong in

faith, courageous in spirit, and ready to stand firm in the Lord. Every night this week, our young

recruits will be learning what it means to “put on the whole armor of God” and join the Lord’s

Army!

For many of us, VBS brings back memories of laughter, snacks, silly songs, and unforgettable

lessons. But even more than that, it reminds us of the impact a single week can have on a child’s

life. Some of us are here today because someone invited us to a VBS years ago. Seeds were

planted that eventually led to a relationship with Christ. That’s the power of this week.

VBS is one of the best evangelistic tools we have as a church. It’s fun, it’s energetic, and it opens

doors to families in our community who might not come on a Sunday morning—but who are

willing to bring their children to something special. That’s why your invitation matters. It’s not

too late to invite a neighbor, a coworker, or a classmate. Tonight could be the night that a child

begins their journey of faith.

Let’s make this a week to remember. Let’s serve with joy, welcome with love, and most

importantly, point every child to Jesus. As we suit up for Bible Boot Camp, our mission is clear:

to raise up young hearts who will love the Lord and be ready to stand in His army.

Let’s get to work, soldier. VBS starts tonight!
