New information has been uploaded and added under the subsection of Amerindian Missions ~ Guyana. Be sure to check the sidebar for the lastest information. The most recent newsletter has also been uploaded. Be sure to download and read about what a great work is going on in Guyana. Note: the newsletters are in .pdf format (Adobe Acrobat Reader needed). We're discussing about the possibility of adding some video clips of this summer's trip as well (but no promises just yet!).

Tracy Moore and his family with be joining the Lord's work at the Summerdale church. They will be moving from Tennessee this week. Pray that they arrive safely and that their move isn't so stressful. Tracy will be taking on some of the ministry responsibilities as well as preaching. Billy Lambert will then start preaching for Summerdale once a month. We look forward to having the Moore family join us at Summerdale.

VBS -- Neighbors for Jesus

Obviously, I missed the theme plastered on the banner on the overhead screen. Sometimes I miss things like that. But the theme for this year's 2007 VBS is.... Neighbors for Jesus. Bring friends, neighbors, family members, husband, wife, children, and all (except pets)!

Vacation Bible School - July 29-Aug 1

Vacation Bible School is coming up really soon. It will be July 29 through August 1. Make sure to invite your friends and family to come for VBS at the Summerdale church! What is the theme this year? Well, you'll just have to come! Or, I could tell you in another post, since I really don't know. :) But that is beside the point. I'm sure it will be a great theme this year.

New to the Family

Congratulations to Braxton Agnew in his decision to be immersed into Christ. Braxton was baptized this morning about 9:15. Everyone pray for him that he grows up faithfully and always remembers the importance of following after Christ!

Terrific Tuesdays -- Bowling

Justin and Jeremy are planning a fun day activity with the young people (1st-8th graders). This Tuesday, July 17, will are planning to have a fun day of bowling in Foley. The youngsters will need about $5 for lunch. More will be announced at Sunday morning's service about the event.
